Native to the 812 area code Amy Schneider has been working with fiber materials since the age of 8 when her grandmother gave her a spare ball of yarn and a crochet hook. She spent much of that first month chaining necklaces, bracelets, and rings for all her friends, family, pets, and stuffed animals. This sparked her love of fiber, and led to a path filled with trying all things craft related.

Fast forward to today

Using Hoosier ingenuity, recycling skills, and the help of her friends, Amy hosts Craft Curious Classes at The Magpies’ Nest in 12 Points allowing participants to “try” a new craft. All the supplies and tools needed in these classes are provided along with instruction. Cost varies from class to class depending on the supplies and tools required.
